Hello Everyone,
My name is Ms. Hamamura (or just Ms. H.) and I grew up on the mainland in Southern California. Although I'm from California I had some ties to Hawaii since both of my parents are from here. My interest in education was probably sparked by my parents, both of whom are teachers. I attended Azusa Pacific University to get my degree in Applied Health and minor in Spanish and then got my credential and Masters in Literacy and Language Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I believe each child has amazing potential to learn and to be successful and it is exciting to see the accomplishments each attains.
When not at school I enjoy the beach, being with friends, playing board games and puzzles, going to church, bargain hunting, and when possible, visiting and playing with my nieces and nephews in Washington.
